Rooms adapted for the physically disabled

Several of the superior rooms are adapted for people with physical disabilities. The Fraser rooms are on the ground floor, with ramp access and handrails outside. Bede rooms are located on the first floor with disabled lift access and wide corridors for access to the rooms.
Bathrooms are adapted with handrails, low basin, adapted toilet handle and taps, and a walk-in shower. Shelving and cupboard space tends to be at a lower level in adapted rooms.
Tea and coffee is provided in all rooms.

Charles Fraser was a missionary with the Scottish Missionary Society to "Russian Tatary". He was the first person to attempt translating the Bible into the Kazakh language. Matthew was printed in 1818, and the New Testament in 1820 by the Russian Bible Society, in Astrakhan.
The Venerable Bede (Latin: Beda Venerabilis): (672 / 673 – May 26, 735), also referred to as Saint Bede was a monk at the Northumbrian monastery of Saint Peter at Monkwearmouth. He was known as an author and scholar, and made the first translation of portions of the gospel of John into any language of England.
